WOW WHAT A WEEKEND

I earlier joind the team "trade A Holics". This weekend we had what they call a "Trade and stay"
I started early saturday morning * hubby thought I was crazy and spent most of day on computer.
At the end of Friday mailed out 6 trades
On Sat.after lunch was going to take a rest from trading, but I needed to get an address from a lady for mailing. I got on the computer and low and behold I had an ACTUAL SALE. Could not believe it. I still Have to pince myself, have not had one in so long.
Sunday I was in the trading mode again, but people were asking me to trade which was really neat.
I have 8 packages packaged up and ready to mail.
It is going to be lilke Christmas around here for awhile. Am going to keep the mailman busy.
Will have to mail a little at a time . At least did not buy. I think today am finally recovered from all the "work" and "fun" of trading.
I got a lot of nice new jewelry, some bath items, and even a nice summer hat.
Hopefully the next items I mail out will be sales. .

Thursday April 7th

I just posted a lot of new bookmarks in my shop. All bookmarks are nicely laminated for easy use.

You will see that all are very colorful, I love bright colors.

I was lucky to find some beautiful pictures and quilt designs from vintage quilting magazines that could be made into booksmarks. Very unique I think.

Wish I had the talent to make quilts like that. Many of the vintage quilting magazines had some very interesting articles about the history of quilting which I always find interesting.

All of my bookmarks are BOGO buy one get one free.

I also will be racking my brain to come up with some other give aways .

I have been doing a lot of trading, and that is fun, but sure would like to make some money.

Tuesday April 5th

Well, Yesterday was one of those very very blustery windy days that we don't like to have here in Amarillo. Winds up to 60 miles an hours. Sure made you want to stay indoors unless you really had to get out.

I did get out early in am to go to dr with daughter but that was it.
Came home and rested after that.

Hubby laminated a bunch more bookmarks for me....and am posting them in both etsy and Art Fire.

At least when he laminates it is free.
Will have to get all I can done before he is finished with school. If I have othe items will have to go to kinkos and they will charge.

Daughter just left to mail a couple items for me at UPS.
She is so helpful when she has time away from her job.

Well Just here to post, and maybe to add a few pictures then back to listing in my shop. Am trying to get items listed that are new.

I also have a bunch of new fabric to make and cover journals with so need to get on that. I really like the fabric covered journals.

Beginning of Spring Break

Well today is Saturday, first day of spring break for my husband, since he teaches school.

He is really glad to get a week off from those high school kiddos.

I used to teach and I know exactly how he feels. It seems the weeks that you have off go so quickly though.

It looks like it is going to be another beautiful day today. Yesterday it got up in the eighties. Sure beats that below zero weather we had earlier this winter when pipes were bursting in our apartment complex.

He was up early this morning listening to his music on the computer. He loves the music of South America since he grew up there. The harp of Argentina and Columbia put forth a wonderful sound. Very unlike the harp in an American orchestra.

His favorite dish.......mole.' There is a restaurant here in town that makes it just the way he likes. I personally don't like it, because it has a combination of chili pepper and cocoa powder and the sweet and spicy do not agree with my taste buds. But he loves it. His mom used to make it for him all the time.

I posted the two new bingo notebooks last night. They are big and chunky. So if you need a nice chunky notebook to keep your notes or addresses or phone #s in this is it.

Well all for now.
I may not be on as much, since I will have to give in and let hubby have the computer too since he is on his time off.
